He is survived by: his spouse Stella Jean McGowen (Hankins); his sons, Dennis McGowen (Kristi) of Joplin, MO and Mark McGowen of Joplin; his brother Richard McGowen (Dick); his grandchildren, Payton Hoffner, Chanci McGowen, Chelsie, Emma and Addison McGowen; and his great grandchild Hadley Jewel Hoffner.
