He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bonnie Mitchell and LeRoy Haefner. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Haefner and Peggy Haefner; his wife Janice Haefner; his children, Mike Haefner of Sapulpa, Dawn Kimmes of Stillwater and Peggy Tallman of Cushing; and his siblings, Cindy Mills of Forth Worth, Ada Haefner of Nebraska, Minnie Haefner of Sapulpa and William Haefner of Joshua.
