She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Sargent and Eula Sargent Hodge (Tuttle); her former husband Jap McNeal; her sisters, Wanda Edwards and Mary Vaden (Billie); and her granddaughter Amber Savage.

She is survived by: her husband Jasper McNeal (Jap); her brother Leo Sargent of Perry; her daughters, Jackie Wolfe of Edmond and Cheryl; her son-in-law Leonard Macias (Butch) of Edmond; her stepchildren, Mark McNeal of Perry and Jan Dickerson of Tulsa; and her grandchildren, Jade Wolfe and Eboney Lester. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Ethel was a kind and generous person, donating to several charities and her time at church events.
