He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Nemechek and Bessie Anne Vohralic Nemechek; his wife Mildred Johnson; and his siblings, Edward Jerry, Frank Joe, Mary Alice, Adelina Anna and Doris.
He is survived by: his adoptive son Tim Nemechek; his niece Polly Gioni; and his adoptive daughter Patsy (Joe Streller). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
