He was predeceased by: his parents, George Durkee and Mary Durkee (Holt); his mother-in-law Josie Romero; and his brother-in-law Fred Waltermire. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Romero; his children, Donna (Chris Lemons), Joseph (Barbara Durkee) and Carol (Adam Moore); his grandchildren, Caleb Lemons, Jacob, Natalie Lemons, Lindsey Lemons, Ryan Durkee, Nathan Durkee, Kaitlyn Durkee, Hannah, Alex Barker, Keagan Moore and Landon Moore; and his siblings, Marilyn Waltermire, Bruce (Karen Durkee), Karen (Richard Culp) and Mary Jane (Gary Kendall).
