It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tonya Irene Gruenewald of Perkins, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Miller and Margaret "Maggie" Miller (Floyd); her husband Herbert Gruenewald; her siblings, Bob, Jack Miller and Barbara; her cousins, Judy and Barbara; and her friends, Gladys, Betty and Joan.
Tonya also loved to work with the St Jude charity where she was a volunteer and able to work with some very big Hollywood names like Danny Thomas and also was the secretary for Thalians for founding member Debbie Reynolds. Not only did Tonya give to her community through her charity work, but she also loved to bring cake to the police station, especially on the anniversary of 09/11.
