It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford Lee Applegate of Peggs, Oklahoma, born in Hulbert, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhoda Levina (Nichols) and Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Applegate; his grandson Nick Applegate; and his siblings, Jeff Wayne Applegate, Kenneth Applegate and Rhoda Lou Burgess.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Applegate (Linda) of Pryor, James Applegate (Susan) of Peggs, Oklahoma, Glenda Applegate of Peggs, Oklahoma, David Applegate (Eugenia) of Peggs, Oklahoma, Lora Applegate of Peggs, Oklahoma and Johnny Applegate (Rebecca) of Peggs, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Lucretia Simmons (Josh), Justin Applegate (Tiffany), Kelsie Applegate, Jared Applegate (Kelsey), Derrick Applegate (Shayna), Shalyn Applegate, Haley Applegate, Darren Applegate and Wyatt Applegate; and his siblings, Gene Applegate (Earlene) of Hulbert, Oklahoma and Ada Mae Cannonie of Stilwell, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
