She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah L Major and Emma Evans Major; and her husband George M Bounds. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Symons (Victor) of Liberal, Kansas. and George Ray Bounds of Pawnee. She is also survived by Six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home.
