We bid farewell to Urbane Aaron Jr. of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Urbane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Urbane Aaron Sr. and Willie Mae Aaron (Linkous); his siblings, Billy Ray Aaron, Burl David Aaron, Tommy Gene Aaron, Gertie Larkin, Bobbie Carnes and Joy Lou Elkins; and his daughter-in-law Karla Hughey Aaron.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Aaron (Miller); his children, Paul Aaron (Jennifer), Brenda Johnson (Rodney) and Rhonda Slayden (Michael); his sisters, Sarah Sellers and Terry Hupprich (Steve); his grandchildren, Brandon Aaron (Meredith), Kolton Aaron, Nathan Slayden and Shannon Allison; and his great grandchild Brennen Allison.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Wooster Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1601 S Chickasaw St, Pauls Valley, OK 73075). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lone Star Cowboy Church (1011 East Ovilla Road, Red Oak, TX 75154). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Red Oak Cemetery (118 TX-342, Red Oak, TX 75154).
