Robert Terry Matthews Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Terry Matthews of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Gene Matthews and Joyce Tadlock; his wife Charlotte Matthews; his grandparents, Clarence Tadlock (Jelly) and Jimmie Tadlock; his siblings, James Jones, ZoAnn Jones and Linda Lou Bell; his aunts, Mona B. Andrews and Sue Watkins Tadlock; and his uncle Joe Watkins.
He is survived by: his son Matt Matthews (Laura) of Bennington; his granddaughters, Alyssa Matthews (Andrew McDonald) of Bennington and Andie Matthews of Bennington; his great grandchild Espen Matthews of Bennington; his uncle John Andrews of Bennington; and his siblings-in-law, Mike, Wendell Brewer, Pam Brewer, Carla Cottrell and Kathy Jones Bock. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A reception will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service - Durant (4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, OK 74701).
