He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Olen Brooks and Imogene Simmons Brooks; his grandparents, William Houston Brooks, Alma Faye Ward Brooks, Lee Bob Simmons and Alice Simmons; and his brother Edwin Brooks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tori and Victoria Brooks (Tori) of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; his sister Belva Brooks Barber; his brother-in-law Russell Barber of Poteau, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Stacy Brooks of Decatur, Arkansas and Beverly Brooks of Pauls Valley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, a nephew, family and many friends.
