Peggy Gail Helm Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Gail Helm (Pauls Valley, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Finwick Bates and Sallie Elise Bates (Elam); her brothers, Charles Edward Bates, Harry Harvey Bates, Jerry Don Bates and Ronnie Lee Bates; her children, Shara Kay Rogers (Helm) and James Richard Helm Jr. (Jimbo); and her grandchildren, Jacob Keith Bittle (Jake), James Richard Helm III (Trey) and Brittney Michele Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Bittle (Keith); her granddaughters, Shatona Gallup (Jason) of Stratford and Brielle Hatter (Robbie) of Stratford; her son-in-law Mike Rogers; her grandson Brandon Rogers; her daughter-in-law Paige Helm; her granddaughter Myla Ashton Sprabery (Tyler) of Byars; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Bates and Sue Bates. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wooster Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1601 S Chickasaw St, Pauls Valley, OK 73075). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Byars Cemetery.
