He is survived by: his close friend Rilla Jolley; his daughters, Tammy Sue Hansen, Terri Kay Smith and Lori Ann Bazmore; his siblings, Clara Spake, Faye Knighten, Billy Smith and David Smith; and his children, James Carnell (Wilma), Melody Hanner and Donald P. Hanner (Betty). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
