Lavelle McAlister Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 85, Lavelle McAlister of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, born in Maysville, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Bynum Nelms and Doris Nelms (McGregory); her siblings, Nolan Nelms, Thelma Willis and Pauline Ficklin; and her grandchild Tonja Pando.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos B. Herrera (Buddy), Daniel R. Herrera (Danny), Veronica D. Pando and Christie Martin; her siblings, Willard Gene Nelms, Maxine Drake and Janice; and her grandchildren, Amber, Timmy, Taylor, Wyatt, Hannah, Austin, Miranda, Aaron, Sonja, Danielle and Stephanie. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wooster Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1601 S Chickasaw St, Pauls Valley, OK 73075). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
