He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Beatrice McCaskill (Collins) and Boochie McCaskill; and his siblings, Bonnie Gilmore, Bobbie McCaskill, Blanche Cox, Jimmy McCaskill, Patsy Frost, Ronnie McCaskill, Sam McCaskill, Donnie McCaskill and Linda McCurley.
He is survived by: his wife Terry McCaskill; his son Geary McCaskill Jr.; his stepson Jason Kurtz; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda McCaskill, Alene McCaskill and Carol McCaskill A. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
