He was predeceased by: his parent Cecil Dacus; his wife Erna Dean Dacus; his children, Catherine Kay Mullins and Jimmy Duanne Dacus; his mother Minnie Dodds Dacus; his in-laws, Doyle and Callie Ramage; and his siblings, Vernon Dacus, Homer Dacus, Alice Merrell, Elmer Dacus, Earl Dacus, Clarence Dacus, Eula Mae Hasley and Wanda Pratt.
He is survived by: his son Dale (Eileen Dacus) of Pauls Valley; his son-in-law Steve Mullins of Ardmore, Oklahoma; his granddaughter Amanda Riddle of Pauls; and his great grandchildren, Lilly Ann Mullins, Layla Kay Mullins, Logan Thompson, Cooper Thompson, Madison Stucks (Kurry), Maci Riddle, Jake Clampitt, Kynlee Martin, Kyler, Naifeh, Bailee Davis, Kade Davis, Jody Ford, David Ford, Jase Ford and Noah Galvin.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilbourn Family Funeral Home (308 SW 3rd St, Lindsay, OK 73052). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Lindsay Church of Christ (1205 W Cherokee St, Lindsay, OK 73052-5108).
