It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois E. Erwin of Paoli, Oklahoma, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her adoptive father Frederick William Conway; her grandmother Elizabeth Pullen Conway (Eugene Erwin); and her son Brent Alan Erwin. She is survived by: her children, David Joe Erwin (Julie) of Louisville, KY, Connie Robinson (Raymond) of College Station, TX and Rev. Terry Erwin (Pamela) of Paoli, OK; her grandchildren, Rev. Terron Erwin (Farrah), Teryla Hillhouse (Daimon), Terrel Erwin (Tiffany), Jonathan Robinson (Kristen), Jeremy Robinson (Patty), Jared Robinson, Katie Erwin and Mallory Erwin (Louisville); her great grandchildren, Clark, Cole Erwin, Addison, Alexander Erwin, Ean, Enderson, Elizabeth Hillhouse, Camila Robinson, Raegan and Weston Robinson A; and her nephew Jackie Inman.
During her almost 99 years, she has endured many challenges, situations, sicknesses, heart problems, cancers, COVID-19, as well as many spiritual battles.
