He was predeceased by: his parents, Pleze Edgar Collins and Sylvia Cecil Collins (Morelock); his son Daniel Bruce Collins; his siblings, Winford, Charles (Chock), Bob and Vella Cheatwood; and his son-in-law Todd Holderfield.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Ruth Collins; his children, Lyndell Collins (Elizabeth) of McAlester, Kevin Collins (Rachel) of Paden and MarQueita Burnett (Marty) of Cunningham, Kentucky; his sisters, Seleta Heard (Clarence) of Paden, Wilma Watts (Sheridan) of Paden and Anita Smith (Jerry) of Prague; and his sisters-in-law, Eunice Collins, Betty Collins and Billie Jean Collins. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
