It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie Jacqueline Tipton of Owasso, Oklahoma, born in Hollis, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jackson Brown and Sybil Irene "Prissy" Brown; her former husband Vernon (late Troy); and her sister Joan. She is survived by: her children, Jeri Kolke, Don Shipley (Tami), Tom Shipley (Jana) and J. R. Shipley; her grandchildren, Matthew, Aaron, Sara, Ryan, Jennifer, Jon and Jeremy; and her sister Kaye Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to H.U.G.S. (Hats, underwear, gloves, and socks) a program through Church of the Holy Cross to provide warmth during Christmas season to children in need. 9309 N. 129th St. E. Ave, Owasso, OK 74055.
