Tilda Ann Simmons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tilda Ann Simmons (Owasso, Oklahoma), born in Walcott, Arkansas, who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ermer Franklin Newsom and Stella O'Dell Newsom (Greenway); and her siblings, H. D., Jim, Harry, Bill, Nina Ruth, Melba and Loretta.
She is survived by: her children, John Simmons, Melessia Simmons and Philip Simmons; her grandson Sterling Turner; and her siblings, Doyle Newsom and Glenda Sue Newsom.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Owasso Church of Christ (13800 E 106th St N, Owasso, OK 74055).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Tilda's memory to Porta Caeli House, 2440 North Harvard Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74115.
