It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Dwayne Ellis (Owasso, Oklahoma), who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel "J. W." and Irene Goodson Ellis; his siblings, Shirley Dickerson, Joyce Gunter and Kent Ellis; and his daughter-in-law Bonnie Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Whinery of Dill City; his children, Max Ellis of Owasso, Ken Ellis (Debbie) of Norman, OK and Janice Hardin (Mal) of Lincoln, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Marc Ellis (Sherry) of Owasso, Lucas Ellis, Titus Ellis (Marcie) of Edmond, OK, Stacey Parris (Jason) of Tahlequah, OK, Alissa Crawford (Marcus) of Tahlequah, OK, Amy Ziegler (Kurk) of Wellington, Ohio and Susan Peacock (Will) of Evergreen, Colorado.; his great grandchildren, Mason (Asia), Levi, Erica, Cole, Sydney, Ryley, Evan, Sylvain, Remy, Titus Joe and Willow; his great great grandchildren, Kaleb Chong and Stella Bonnie; and his brother James Ellis (Billie) of Burleson, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
