He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Sorrell and Jean Sorrell; his wife Nancy (Slanoc); his son Michael Shawn Sorrell; and his in-laws, Anna Slanoc, Margaret, Arthur Garanich, Steve Slanoc, Barbara, Bill Graves, Robert, Karen Slanoc and Dianne Summers.
He is survived by: his children, Kary Anne Sorrell-Fisher (Greg) of Owasso and Timothy Shawn Sorrell of Tulsa; his grandchildren, Hayden Alexander Sorrell and Finley Anne Fisher; his stepgranddaughter Sarah Nicole Fisher; his sisters, Tammy Hill (Paul), Mynette Lawrence (Dave) and Lil Baker (Tracy); and his in-laws, Charles Slanoc, Geraldine Slanoc, Wayne Summers, Andrew Slanoc (Laura) and Martin Slanoc (Lynn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
