With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Thompson of Owasso, Oklahoma, born in Bearden, Arkansas, who passed away on December 20, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Gatling and Carrie Gatling; her husband Elmer Joseph Thompson; and her siblings, James Gatling, Mary McConnell, Virginia Boone and Pauline Lair.
She is survived by: her son Richard Thompson (Colleen) of Owasso, OK; her granddaughters, Stephanie Renfro (Rob) of Tulsa and Sarah Malcom (Kerry) of Owasso; and her great grandchildren, Rachel, Brooke, Mandy, Jaden Renfro, Isaac, Elizabeth and Sam Malcom.
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in honor of Ruby to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital so that she may continue to help children, even in death.
