He was predeceased by: his parent Moadelyn Carolyn Looney (Harpin); his son Sgt. Andrew Looney; and his parent Cleo Looney. He is survived by: his wife Martha Looney of Owasso; his children, Joanna Lynch (Phil) of Hutchinson, KS and Steven Looney (Kim) of Broken Arrow; his grandchildren, Rylan Looney of Broken Arrow and Jonah Lynch of Hutchinson, KS; and his siblings, Jerry Looney of Thailand, Ronnie Looney of Pueblo, CO, David Looney of Boulder, CO and Kay Ping of Sloan, IA. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
He went to be with his heavenly Father on December 22, 2021, in Tulsa, OK after a short Covid illness.
