She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Brown and Vera Virgie Brown (Perry); her spouse Sampson Underwood Jr.; her grandson Joseph "JoJo" Carney; her siblings, Paul Junior Brown, Harley Pete Brown and Juanita Underwood; her grandson Jordan Shane Deese; her niece Rita Lynette Sykes; and her nephew Steve Postoak.
She is survived by: her children, Angie Carney (Richard) of Ardmore, Okla, Linda Anderson (Michael) of Springer, OK, Sheila Alfatal (Underwood) of Sulphur, Buck Underwood of Owasso, OK, Dustin Couch (Anisa) of Sulphur and Todd Couch of Sulphur; her grandchildren, Adrian Carney, Amanda Carney, Maegan Carney, Lennon Carney, Raven Carney, Justyce Underwood, Khalysi Underwood, Leni Underwood, Dorian Underwood, Alex Wells, Aries Couch, Zion Couch, I, Yanna Underwood, Alayna Underwood and Deiton Martin; and her great grandchildren, Jasper Carney, Addison Larney and Calypso Tyler.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (1610 C St, Ardmore, OK 73401). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
