She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Francis Hickman and Vedie Mae Bell Lockridge; her husband Kenneth Colwell; her siblings, Robert Hickman and Mae Francis Kiles; and her niece Patricia Tullos.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Laney (Doug) of Owasso, Oklahoma.; her granddaughter Jennifer Miller (Heath) of Owasso, Oklahoma.; her great grandchildren, Rhys, Salem, Avonlea, Jenika and Corbin Miller of Owasso; her sister Doris Taylor of Tyler, Texas; her nephew Gary Tullos of Tyler; and her nieces, Michelle Culpepper-Reed of Tyler and Rebekah Martin-Kaye of Dothan, Alabama..
