He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Bertie Manila Bowers (McElfresh); his former wife Frances Bowers; his daughter Kathy Sue Fry; his stepsons, Billie Clark and Wayne Clark; and his granddaughter Madeline Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Lois; and his children, Debbie (Dwayne Gipson), Pamela Wright, Jody Bowers (Abby Dora), Robby Bowers and Angela (Jeffrey Beyer). He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
