With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Alton Ward (Owasso, Oklahoma), born in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 18, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Reuben Ward and Martha Alta Ward (Chapman). He is survived by : his wife Lucy Faye Richardson; his daughter Debbie McIntosh (Roley) of Eufaula; his stepgrandchildren, Spencer, Tyler, Elijah and Samantha; his stepgreat-granddaughter Diana Lange (Bob) of Greenwood Village; his grandchildren, Ava, Luci and Lily; and his brother Wayne Ward. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore's Southlawn Chapel (9350 E 51st St, Tulsa, OK 74145). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (14100 East 86th St N, Owasso, OK 74055). A burial was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Warner Memorial Cemetery.
