He was predeceased by: his parents, Dot Mayes and Bob Mayes; his son Jeff Mayes; and his granddaughter Andrea Mayes. He is survived by: his wife Doris; and his children, Kevin Mayes (Joy) and Marci Carpenter (John). He is also survived by two granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
