He was predeceased by: his father Howard Kritzer Smith II. He is survived by: his mother Grace Marie Kirby (Higdon); his daughter Sue Smith; his granddaughters, Angie Parker, April Benjamin, Shauna Bellator (Jay) and Tori Smith; his siblings, Archer, Dawson, Amelia and Kendall; his children, Samantha Keener, Kelly Josway (Jim), Wesley Kirby and Eddie Kirby (Debbie); and his pet Grace Kirby.

In lieu of flowers, the family request's donations be made in Howard's memory to Owasso Cops for Kids, P.O. Box 149, Owasso, Oklahoma 74055.
