It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Dale Goyer of Owasso, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gordon Dale shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gordon Dale farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Goyer and Agnes Goyer (Thornton); his wife Ola Goyer (Haley); his son Carey Goyer; and his brothers, Dean Goyer, Don Goyer and Denton Goyer.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Goyer (Tene) of Broken Arrow and Doug Goyer (Dana) of Denton, Texas; his daughter-in-law Danette Goyer of Owasso, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Jim Goyer (Beverly) of Pryor, Oklahoma and Doyne Dunlap of Irving, Texas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service (1204 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74361). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ross - Mayes Cemetery.
