It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elfrieda Francis Phelps (Owasso, Oklahoma), born in Goessel, Kansas, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman J. Frey and Anna Nikkel Frey; her husband Dr. E. R. Phelps; her siblings, Elma Regier, Rosella Fleming and Abraham C. Frey; her daughter-in-law Linda Phelps; and her great grandchild Braden Potter.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ron Phelps (Nancy) of Inola, Randi Phelps (Vickie) of Pasadena and Rick Phelps (Debbie) of Claremore; and her great grandchildren, Shelbi Montgomery (Jesse), Nichole Potter (Brian), Holly Black (Ryan), Kristi Gibb (Josh), Jason Phelps (Rebecca), Daniel Phelps (Amanda) and Wes Phelps (Jessie).
The family requests memorial contributions be made in Elfrieda's memory to the Collinsville Baptist Tabernacle Church Camp Fund, 13300 East 136th Street North, Collinsville, Oklahoma, 74021.
