He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl Dickens and Lenora Amelia Dickens (Vaughan); and his siblings, Dennis Dickens, Duane Dickens and Deane Hinkle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sada Khan (Stephen) and Tanya Kesner (John); his grandchildren, Sophia Rodriguez, Asa Kesner, Lila Kesner, Kaiden Khan and Reina Khan; his brother David Dickens (Debra); his nephews, Jason Dickens, Jamie Dickens (Amy) and Jarad Dickens (Ashley); and his niece Shoshanna Hinkle.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
