She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Slidle Pierce and Katie Josephine Lea; her husband Robert Melone; her siblings, Jo Etta Burris and Henry Pierce; and her niece Susan "Eileen" Ridley.
She is survived by: her children, Rob Melone (Connie) of Owasso, Perry Melone (Reggie) of Tulsa and Jo Ellen Rippley (Herb "Rip") of Flower Mound, Texas.; her grandchildren, Stacie Hollowoa (Luke), Paul Melone (Kacee Johnson), Katie Bradshaw (Beau) and Robert Ridley (Samantha); and her great grandchildren, Weston Barnett, Britton Bradshaw, Audrey Hollowoa and Max Melone.
