He was predeceased by: his parents, N. B. Sipes and Pearl Sipes; and his daughter Linda. He is survived by: his children, Mike, Gary and Annette; his spouse Jean Brown; his children, Floyd, Brett and Marlene; his grandchildren, Zachary, Macie, Alicia, Ross, Keith, Kaitlin, William, Cassandra and Abigail; and his son Dakota. He is also survived by children, from his first marriage.
