He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Childers and Joyce Jean Childers (Raborn); his children, Billy Childers and Jeanie Kelley; and his sister Owana.
He is survived by: his sons, Teddy Lee Childers and Ernest Mullins III; and his siblings, Danny Dale Childers, Mary England, Joyce Whaley and Darlene Little. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Seaman First Class Billy Turner Veterans Cemetery (1555 Myall St, Ardmore, OK 73401).
