It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Ray Horton formerly of Osage, Oklahoma, born in Hominy, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvis Horton and Helen Winkcompleck (Vera); and his siblings, Wayne Horton, Regina Wells and Jill Westfall.

He is survived by: his wife Vera; and his siblings, Ellen Gray of Amarillo, Douglas Horton of Hominy, Angela Oglesby of Kentucky, Virgil Traster of Prue and Jerry Winkcompleck of Tye. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
