He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Emmit Smith and Zelma Mae Smith (Bridge); his siblings, R. E. Smith, Goldie Smith, Alice Smith, Violet McKiddy, Helen Robinson and Delphine Duncan; and his daughter-in-law DeLores Smith (Harold Smith).
He is survived by: his wife Darla Mae McCuistion; his children, Harold Smith of Edmond, Connie Linton (Tony) of Farmersville, Saundra Tenison (David) of Beggs and Shawn Smith (Lisa) of Baldwin City, Kansas; and his sister Mary Francis Haynes of Blanchard, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to: "In Search of the Lord's Way" program in Edmond, Oklahoma or the Westview Boy's home in Hollis, Oklahoma.
