He was predeceased by: his mother Escolastica "Nikki" Martinez (Roblez); his grandson Kayden Lennox; and his friends, Troy Farr and Jessie Farr. He is survived by: his father Ray Martinez; his close friend Bonita Akers; his children, Justin Martinez (Randa), Trey Martinez and Bobbie Martinez; his stepchildren, Fera Garcia, Bobby Garcia and Chantilly Garcia; his siblings, Ramiro Martinez (Vivian), Adolfo Martinez (Anita), Martin Martinez (Carol) and Ellie Hand (David); his grandchildren, Hayden, Bryceton, Hunter, Preston, Allison, Braylee, Kyler, Huntlee, Dawson, Hesston, Devaughn, Raylen, Boston and Daylen; his nieces and nephews, Denise, Aaron, Trevor, Levi, Nicklas (Madalyn), Morgan (Lafe), Mitchell (Alison), Tyler, Lindsey (Beau) and Takara (Montea); and his friend Calvin Yocham. He is also survived by numerous other family members and many friends.
