It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Jean Wilks of Oktaha, Oklahoma, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sheffield and Helen Ludescher Sheffield; her siblings, Susan Alexander and Dick Sheffield; and her son-in-law Paul Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Wilks (Sherry) of Fort Gibson, Wendy Hatley (Mark) of Fort Gibson, Bobbi Butler of Fort Gibson and Gary Wilks (Tye) of Oktaha; her grandchildren, Ashlie Ryan (John), Justin Wilks (Heather), Nick Wilks (Robin), Andy Hatley, Alana Hatley (Josh English), Michael Butler (Savannah), Chelsea Heath (Dustin) and Alicia Moore (Steven); and her siblings, Elaine Henderson of Fort Gibson, Betty McCollum of Edmond and Don Sheffield of Grand Junction, Colorado. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
A reception was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home (1224 E Poplar St, Fort Gibson, OK 74434).
