It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lee Carter of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Ruth Evans (Tucci) and Noel Evans; and her sons, Tommy Carter and Kenny Carter. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Carter; her son Jay Carter (Tamara) of Missouri; her daughters-in-law, Toni Carter of California and Peggy Carter of Indiana; her grandchildren, Jay Carter of New York City, Patrick Carter (Alayna) of Oklahoma, Justin Carter (Alicia) of California, Nate Carter (Katie) of California, Kenneth Carter, Jr. of Indiana and John Carter (Tatum) of Indiana; her great grandchildren, Amelie of Oklahoma, Evelyn of California, Tobias of California, Aiden of California, Adyline of California, Colton of California, Taylor and Riley of Indiana; and her cousin Brian Ross of Oklahoma.
