She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Higgs, Sr. and Hattie Higgs (Dunn); her father-in-law Henry McGee; her brothers, John Higgs (Mae), Oscar Higgs, Jr. and Arzell Higgs (Wynata); her brother-in-law Arthur "Junior" DeBouse; and her sisters, Cozell Higgs Bowie (Earl) and Ollie Higgs.
She is survived by: her husband Paul McGee; her children, Byron Hamilton of Okmulgee and Lisa Currington (Douglas) of Glenpool; her granddaughter Destiny Hamilton; her great grandchildren, Masen Hamilton and Mikail Byrd; her brother Overseer Clindell Higgs (Letricia) of Oklahoma City; her mother-in-law Louise McGee; her sisters-in-law, Eunice Higgs of Okmulgee, Lois McGee of Checotah, Zenia DeBouse of Oklahoma City, Bettye Burton (Willie) of Wichita, KS, Bobbie Benson (George) of Longview, TX, Linda Yerger (Cardis) of Seattle, WA and Maeleatha Patterson of Oklahoma City; and her caregiver Jennifer "Jenny" Bridgeman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins; adopted family.
