She was predeceased by: her mother Maxine Julia Swearingen; her sons, David Wesley Jones and Steve Boyd Johnston; and her brother Jimmy DeWayne Whitman. She is survived by: her husband James Gleason (JR); her sisters, Charlotte Klutts and Julia Cole; her brother-in-law Tom; her extended family Eva Gleason of Beggs; and her brothers, Mike (Claudia Lee), John (Gwen Dodd) and Rex (Celia Gleason). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 302 S. Seminole, Okmulgee, OK 74447 or in care of the funeral home.
