We bid farewell to Shirley Gean McKay of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 4, 2025 at the age of 74. Shirley Gean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny Leybas and Lillian Leybas (Albert); her siblings, Raymond Leybas, Kenny Leybas and Ramona Leybas; and her niece Sissy Barton.
She is survived by: her son Richard McKay (Debbie); her grandson Richard "Kane" McKay (Madison Antle); and her siblings, Bertha Brown (Daisy Howell), Benny "Sonny" Leybas, Jr., Daniel Leybas, Johnny Leybas, Michael Leybas and Waddle Leybas.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home - Okmulgee (303 E 7th St, Okmulgee, OK 74447).
