It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley B. Carter of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dock Zachary and Ozener Zachary (Ligons); her husband Charles James Carter; her siblings, Florence McClellan, Elizabeth Glover, Helen Gresham, Theopollus Zachary, Andrew, Charles, Robert and James Zachary (Jimmy); and her grandson Michael Douglas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlene Carter, Wanda Mack (Nathaniel) of Grayson, OK and Marilyn Celestine of Okmulgee, OK.. She is also survived by Her 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
