She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Samuel and Cora Jones (Cargill); her husband Bill; and her siblings, Marilyn Horne, June Jones and Robert Jones.

She is survived by: her nephew Keith Taggart (Ann) of Del City; her great-nieces, Kari Dyer (Josh) of Newcastle and Kaci Floranda (Bernard) of Oklahoma City; her niece Sherri Cobb (Terry) of Choctaw; and her great-niece Kelli Bailey of Choctaw.

It wasn't unusual for her to buy a stack of books and donate them to the local library once she was finished.
