She was predeceased by: her parents, J. T. Pearson and Eula Pearson (Jones). She is survived by: her children, Gary Vanderslice and Tammy Jones (Travis); her grandchildren, Treye Vanderslice, Christine Jones, Madison Jones, Jaden Jones and Nevaeh Jones; and her great grandchildren, Anthony and Saiya Vanderslice. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and caregivers.
