She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thornburg and Mary Thornburg; her son Alford; and her siblings, Beverly Ann, Elsie, Mary, Barbara, Rosie, Marinea, James, Bill, Edward Gene, Roy and Harold Thornburg.
She is survived by: her husband Alford McElhaney; and her children, Trease Creighton, Janice York (David) and Buddy McElhaney. She is also survived by seven grandsons; along with many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
