It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Sanford of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lonnie J. Sanford and Ella L. Sanford; his siblings, Loretha Jacobs, Inell of Washington, Lonnie Jr., James Roma and Lawrence; his children, Donald Ray Sanford (Debra), Derrick Sanford (Mavis), Leon Sanford, Zarah Whitfield, Dekovan Lamon Wallace, Misty Brown (Chris) and Brittney Simmis (Aikil); his siblings, Zelma Snell (Otis) and Donell Ray Sanford; and also Tracye Wallace. He was also cherished by one loving aunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
