He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wilson and Myrtle "Peggy" Wilson (Simnett); and his wife Donna Mae Bowles. He is survived by: his daughter Shawna Thomas (Steve) of Okmulgee; his grandchildren, Stephanie Wilson (Aaron) of Okmulgee and Steven Thomas (Melissa) of Norman; his great grandchildren, Aaron Wilson, Cooper Thomas, Annistyn Wilson, Aven Wilson and Piper Thomas; and his sister-in-law Pat Davis of Okmulgee.
